[:en]”HIRUDOVER” SRL is a company specialized in the growth and reproduction of medicinal leeches (Hirudo medicinalis) in captivity, in a controlled environment destined for Hirudotherapy.
The firm is located in the town of Codllea, Brasov county. The bio laboratory is equipped with temperature and humidity control systems, with a hygiene corresponding to a laboratory and has a production capacity per year of over 200,000 leeches.

The Brasov bio laboratory started its activity in 2016 being a continuation of the activity of the bio laboratory from Carligele, Vrancea county, which belongs to BIOAPIMED-SV SRL company, established in 2010. Currently, the bio laboratory managed by Mrs. Veronica Burga carries out the activity to the maximum capacity. With an experience of over 15 years in the field, the bio laboratory produces high-quality leeches which are appreciated both on the domestic and foreign market which dictates continuous growth in our annual production.
